As a true value-added module, the Evolve Scheduler is a session that runs on your server (or a
designated workstation) and handles "scheduled" events. This enables maintenance tasks such as
database backup or data update routines to run on a pre-scheduled basis automatically with no user
intervention.
The Scheduler opens up a wide range of possibilities in terms of configuring system events
to trigger automatically. If the CFO would like to automatically receive an aging report via
e-mail each Monday morning, the Scheduler would be the tool to make it possible.
